About the role:
As a Radiographer with Tamworth Medical Imaging, you’ll work across both our main site in Tamworth and satellite locations in Quirindi, Walcha, Barraba, and Manilla—providing essential imaging services to communities across the region.
Your day-to-day will include a variety of procedures such as general radiography, dental, trauma, theatre, and Cath lab imaging. You’ll have the opportunity to expand your skills over time, with training available in additional modalities to support your career growth.
The department operates on a 7-day rotating roster, with standard hours from 7:30am to 11:00pm and on-call coverage after hours.
You’ll be supported by a highly collaborative team of Radiographers, Sonographers, Nurses, Radiologists, and administrative staff. About you:
You’re a motivated and proactive Radiographer with excellent communication skills and a genuine passion for patient care. You thrive in fast-paced clinical environments, bringing energy, professionalism, and a strong work ethic to everything you do.
You’re confident working both independently and as part of a collaborative team, and you’re always eager to learn and grow in your role. Your adaptability, attention to detail, and commitment to continuous improvement will help you succeed in a dynamic and supportive healthcare setting.
Requirements:
- Degree in Medical Radiation Science (Diagnostic Radiography) or equivalent.
- Eligible for registration with Australian Health Professionals Registration Authority (AHPRA), hold current NSW EPA Radiation licence.
