To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria as thoroughly as possible.
- High-level technical expertise in epidemiologic methods and the investigation of public health problems
- Knowledge of epidemiological methods relevant to the investigation and control of communicable diseases and investigation of environmental health issues
- Demonstrated high-level competence in the use of databases, statistical and other software programs for the capture, analysis and presentation of data
- Experience in planning, program management or policy development
- Broad knowledge of public health issues and of the NSW health system
- Ability to meet deadlines, and work with minimal supervision
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work co-operatively with colleagues in a multidisciplinary team, internal partners within the health service and external agencies
