Prostate Cancer Nurse - Clinical Nurse Consultant Broken Hill

Skills and Knowledge

1. Registered Nurse with a minimum 3 years post-graduate experience with current nursing/midwifery registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
2. Demonstrated clinical expertise and experience in prostate cancer nursing, urology or oncology nursing. Tertiary qualifications, working toward tertiary qualifications or study in the specific field is an advantage.
3. Demonstrated effective communication and interpersonal skills, and ability to work in a multidisciplinary context
4. Demonstrated experience in patient teaching and the ability to present education to small or large groups
5. Demonstrated ability to work independently with high level time management, problem solving, analytical and organisational skills.
6. Demonstrated and well developed computer skills, written and verbal communication, and report writing.
7. Demonstrated ability to implement and lead clinical practice change through planning, quality improvement and use of evidence based best practice.
8. Drivers License and willingness to travel throughout the LHD
