Selection Criteria

  1. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline and/or demonstrated relevant industry experience.
  2. Extensive experience in working with patients and carers to capture their experience/outcomes and improve their care.
  3. Extensive experience in leading and implementing projects and/or initiatives and change-management with demonstrated successful approaches to implementing large scale, complex programs.
  4. High level skills in conceptual and systems thinking on the successful application of innovative approaches.
  5. Highly developed analytical skills and demonstrated ability to interpret and package complex information rapidly and accurately using verbal and written communications.
  6. Demonstrated ability to interact effectively with senior management and external stakeholders.
  7. Demonstrated negotiation skills including the ability to resolve conflicts, competing demands and prioritising resources.
  8. Evidence of a current unrestricted drivers’ licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires. This may involve driving long distances and overnight stays.

All new employees must agree to comply with the requirements outlined in this policy. OASV requirements also include proof of vaccination against influenza and is compulsory for NSW Staff that enter any Residential Aged Care Facility (RACF) or who work in NSW Health owned and operated RACFs
