About the role

The CAOD is responsible for developing, managing and coordinating NSW Ministry of Health policy, strategy and program funding relating to the prevention, minimisation and treatment of alcohol and drug related harm.

The AOD Programs and Services (PSO) Team in the CAOD, leads the operational management and coordination of the programs, services and systems to ensure efficiency and compliance across the Centre. The team supports the achievement of Centre wide organisational objectives with respect to financial management, performance and reporting, compliance and contracts, people and culture and business planning.

The Project Administration Officer supports the operational management of the Centre in areas of financial management, human recourses and administrative support. The role provides high quality and essential services and contributes to the efficient and effective functioning of the Centre.

Crown Clerk 3/4, starting salary from $82,193 - $90,001 p.a. plus Super and annual leave loading, with a 35-hour work week, work location- 1 Reserve Road, St Leonards

What you'll be doing

  • Manage the CAOD Admin Inbox by responding to requests and/or directing them to the relevant business unit or officer.
  • Undertake end-to end operational and administrative tasks in areas of accounts and finance, human resource and business operations.
  • Support the team to make improvements in business processes that improve operational efficiency and effectiveness,
  • Manage self and work closely with the team member to manage workloads competing priorities.


About you
