What you'll be doing
The PoCT Hub Coordinator works in association with the PoCT Zone Manager to:
- Ensure effective operation of PoCT activities in accordance with relevant policies, standards and the requirements of a diverse client base;
- Ensure the development and maintenance of a client-focused service which operates to best practice standards; and
- Provide support and education in PoCT services.
- Work with regional hospitals through Western LHD to ensure correct usage of Point of care devices

- Qualifications in a related field of science with subjects relevant to Pathology and/or extensive work related experience.
- Proven ability to work independently and within a team environment.
- Demonstrated organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work and manage competing priorities.
- Demonstrated exceptional conceptual, analytic and problem solving skills.
- High level interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate, consult and negotiate with key stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience and/or understanding of quality assurance and quality control principles.
- Demonstrated high level of PC skills, including being able to use programs like word processing and spread sheets and/or a laboratory information system.
- Current unencumbered NSW (Class C) drivers licence and the ability / willingness to work across various locations / sites as required.
