This position provides professional governance including the management of professional performance (which includes competency standards) and oversight of clinical supervision.
As the Physiotherapy Director for ISLHD you will lead and develop opportunities for teaching, training, research, practice advancement, and quality improvement within Physiotherapy.
The successful candidate will support an integrated allied health service across ISLHD and will be an active member of the Allied health leadership group. The position is responsible for physiotherapy across all ISLHD sites and works closely with ISLHD general managers and the executive team.

Wollongong Hospital, located on Dharawal Country, is the Illawarra Shoalhaven’s major referral and teaching hospital and has a bed-base count of more than 500. The campus, which incorporates the Illawarra Regional Cancer Care Centre, provides a comprehensive range of inpatient, outpatient and community-based services.
