Bankstown Hospital is currently seeking a dynamic and dedicated physiotherapist to join our multidisciplinary team.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient-centered care and demonstrate flexibility in providing physiotherapy services tailored to the diverse needs of our community.

Responsibilities will include efficiently managing a caseload across various care settings, adhering to clinical policies and procedures, and engaging in evidence-based practice to ensure high-quality service delivery.

The successful applicant will exhibit excellent communication skills, collaborating effectively with fellow healthcare professionals and supporting the supervision and development of staff and students.

Participation in professional development activities, quality improvement initiatives, and adherence to administrative and safety protocols are essential components of this role.

Where You'll Be Working 
Bankstown-Lidcombe Hospital is located in the city of Bankstown and is in one of the most multicultural local government areas (LGA) in Australia. This hospital has tertiary affiliations with three universities and offers a range of roles and experiences to employees.

The hospital receives highly diverse presentations in ED as well as having general medical and surgical services and sub-specialty services across the hospital.   1. Current Physiotherapy Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  2. Demonstrated broad range of relevant physiotherapy clinical skills and experience
  3. Demonstrated effective verbal and written communication, computer skills and time management skills.
  4. Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  5. Demonstrated commitment to professional development and the application of evidence based practice
  6. Demonstrated knowledge and involvement in quality improvement activities.
