Campbelltown Hospital is undergoing rapid growth and this is reflected in both its size and patient complexity. The position is for an experienced hospital pharmacist aiming to offer advanced pharmacy practice service and engage in a multidisciplinary team to achieve the best patient outcomes .
- Provide specialist clinical pharmacy services to a clinical ward
- Ensure safe, effective, and cost-conscious medication management
- Actively engage in clinical governance, research, and education
- Promote stewardship, and support quality care

- Full Pharmacist registration with AHPRA with no restrictions to the scope of practice. An already existing grade 2 pharmacist OR A minimum of 3 years' experience as a registered pharmacist working in hospital pharmacy AND EITHER:

- A minimum of 12 months experience working as a clinical pharmacist in in the nominated specialty area (or a similar specialty area) OR
- Relevant postgraduate qualifications and a minimum of 6 months experience in the nominated specialty area (or a similar specialty area).

- Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of hospital staff, and patients and careers.
- Demonstrated ability to display judgement and independence in problem solving.
- Demonstrated competence in clinical drug knowledge and experience in applying that knowledge appropriately to clinical settings such as education, critical care, geriatrics, paediatrics, neonatal, diabetes, antimicrobial stewardship, opioid stewardship, drug information, drug committee, palliative care, development or review of medication policies and guidelines.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as within multidisciplinary teams.
- Demonstrated ability to promote teamwork and to supervise the activities of pharmacy staff and provide assistance in the specialty field for other staff.
- Proven organisational and time management skills and the ability to priorities according to organisational needs.
- Demonstrated contribution to quality assurance activities.
