About the role:
- The successful applicant will play a key frontline role on Ward H3 which is our MACU/ESSU unit, providing vital support to patients, families, nurses, doctors, and other healthcare professionals.
- Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to answering phone calls, admitting and discharging patients, ordering stationery and medical supplies, preparing and packing patient charts, and managing ward stock and supplies.
- Comprehensive training and a thorough orientation will be provided to the successful candidate, with ongoing support from the Administration Manager, Nurse Unit Manager, and access to My Health Learning.
- Ward H3 is a 7-day Roster.
- Hours will be 12:30pm – 9:00pm with set shifts in the roster which will be either during the week and on weekends
- Shifts may also fall onto Public Holidays and over Christmas Period
About You:
- We are seeking someone with a bright, positive attitude who can work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- The ideal candidate will be highly organised, with strong time management and prioritisation skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability are also essential qualities for success in this role
- Coordinating patient admissions, discharges, and transfers.
- Ensuring compliance with privacy, confidentiality, and workplace safety policies.
