What you'll be doing
The primary purpose of a Technical Assistant in the Department of Infectious Diseases and Microbiology is to perform tasks that assist the scientific staff to better perform their duties. These daily, weekly, and monthly tasks fall within the key accountabilities of this job description.  
  1. Higher School Certificate with Mathematics, Science & English or equivalent
  2. Willingness to work with infectious material
  3. Proven ability to work in a team environment
  4. Understanding of confidentiality
  5. Effective Communication skills (written & oral)
  6. General knowledge and experience with utilising computer systems. Possess suitable keyboard skills.
  7. Experience in a laboratory environment
