- Current registration with Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia as a Medical Radiation Practitioner - Diagnostic Radiographer. Current registration with the EPA (Radiation User License).
- Demonstrated experience in a health support, field engineering or IT support role with proven education capabilities to instruct staff in the use of PACS/RIS applications.
- Detailed knowledge of imaging modalities, radiology information systems (RIS), and HL7/DICOM applications.
- Sound understanding of image presentation, image quality and storage principles as these relate to PACS/RIS and Integrated Radio logy systems.
- Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills and demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Sound understanding of networking principles and ability to partner and liaise with IT&T Services, vendors and others to troubleshoot PACS/RIS and imaging modality issues.
- High level of knowledge in quality assurance of systems and documentation.
- Valid unrestricted drivers licence for use in NSW/Australia and willingness to travel in the course of employment throughout MNC and NNSW LHD’s.
