Remuneration: $57.11 - $58.98 per hour

The Out of Home Care (OOHC) Health Pathways Program is a key initiative arising out of the Keep Them Safe: a Shared Approach to Child Wellbeing 2009-2014, which is the NSW Government Response to the Report of the Special Commission of Inquiry into Child Protection Services in NSW.

- Registration: Current Registered Nurse Division 1 with APHRA
Selection Criteria:
- Minimum of three (3) years post-registration experience appropriate to performing the role of a Clinical Nurse Specialist Level 2 for children and young people in out of home care.
- Demonstrated currency of practice and competence in assessing children and their families in relation to their health and social needs including an understanding of and commitment to Families NSW principles.
- Demonstrated high level communication, liaison, networking and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated thorough understanding and ability to implement the principles of primary health care and work in partnership with families.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge working collaboratively as a member of a multidisciplinary team and with other service providers including Child and Family nurses, Allied health staff, General Practitioners, Child and Family Health Tertiary referral services.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently whilst maintaining high level time management, problem solving, interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.
