Are you looking for an opportunity to join a world class tertiary paediatric specialty network in a varied role at a pivotal time of transformation?
The role
As an Organisational Development and Learning Consultant, you will be part of a small credible team working to advance the desired workplace culture across the Sydney Children’s Hospitals Network.
The mandate of your role aligns with the 2023-27 SCHN Strategic Plan Objective 4. We Value Our People and the 2025-2027 Organisational Improvement Plan. Specifically, you will have the opportunity to consult, advise, contribute to and lead programs of work across a range of initiatives including embedding culture through values and behaviours, building management and leadership capability, supporting recognition and importantly employee engagement that will ultimately drive organisational change.
About you
The ideal candidate will be a people-focussed professional who is engaging, resilient, hands-on and able to cope with ambiguity in a complex matrix environment. With strong interpersonal skills you are able to quickly establish credibility and influence senior stakeholders up to executive level.
You are an integral team player with the tenacity to lead projects to successful outcomes and possess a combination of sound conceptual analytical skills with creativity and innovation. You embody Organisational Development (OD) thinking. Experience in OD, change management, learning and development, and/or human resources is essential.
A background in Health is not necessary as you will be thoroughly supported by your team.
- Tertiary levels qualifications and/or relevant experience preferably in organisational development, adult learning, psychology, change management, and/or human resources
- Demonstrated experience in designing, delivering and evaluating learning and/or OD programs to meet identified organisational need at strategic and service levels
- Establishing credibility, relationship management and influence with senior stakeholders including at executive level
- Demonstrated strategic thinking within a complex environment and effective prioritisation of competing demands and deadlines
- Design and development of ‘right-fit’ organisational development solutions for complex organisations or environments
- Combination of sound conceptual analytical skills with creativity and innovation
- Facilitation of change at all levels of the organisation, including internal consultation capabilities with senior stakeholders
- Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce CORE values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders, colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them
