About the Role

The position is responsible for Occupational Therapy clinical service provision across a range of acute medical specialities, including renal, respiratory, infectious disease, ICU, cardiology, cardio thoracic surgery, immunology, endocrinology, vascular, gastro and liver, upper GI, colorectal and general surgery. The position is also responsible for supervision of clinical staff members, including Occupational Therapists and Allied Health Assistants.
The position provides senior clinical leadership within Occupational Therapy service provision including optimisation of patient/client care delivery, as well as supporting the mentoring and development of staff.

Ideal Candidate

  • Bachelor or post graduate degree or equivalent in Occupational Therapy and current registration with AHPRA, with experience at Level 2 or higher.
  • Demonstrated advanced clinical knowledge, skill and significant clinical experience in the provision of Occupational Therapy.
  • Currently holds a valid NSW Driver’s Licence (P1 and P2 licence acceptable).
  • All candidates must have full working rights within Australia.
