The Role

The Nursing Unit Manager will provide leadership and manage the delivery of health care services for all patients admitted to the Correctional Centre. The position is an integral part of nursing administration and has responsibility and accountability for planning, development, implementation and evaluation of health services for patients and for overseeing the delivery of those services.  This includes the co-ordination and monitoring of service provision, and implementing and monitoring activity relating to service planning and development and policy development.  
This position is required to interface effectively with other managers and service directors within Justice Health and Corrective Service New South Wales (CSNSW) custodial and program staff.
