Selection Criteria:
- Registered Nurse with current NSW registration, minimum of 5 years experience.
- Masters Degree (or working towards same in relevant area).
- Experience working in senior nursing leadership position.
- Demonstrated ability to lead the design, delivery and evaluation of District-wide strategies relating to leadership, and practice development, quality improvement and workplace culture.
- Excellent Conceptual, analytical, problem solving and planning skills and the ability to apply these to support SESLHD Nursing and Midwifery strategic directions.
- Excellent and effective interpersonal, organisational and computer literacy skills.
- Comprehensive knowledge of professional and practice issues surrounding nursing and midwifery clinical practice at a local, national and international level.
- Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team and engage key stakeholders.
