Selection Criteria: 
  1. Registered Nurse with current NSW registration, minimum of 5 years experience. 
  2. Masters Degree (or working towards same in relevant area).
  3. Experience working in senior nursing leadership position.
  4. Demonstrated ability to lead the design, delivery and evaluation of District-wide strategies relating to leadership, and practice development, quality improvement and workplace culture.
  5. Excellent Conceptual, analytical, problem solving and planning skills and the ability to apply these to support SESLHD Nursing and Midwifery strategic directions.
  6. Excellent and effective interpersonal, organisational and computer literacy skills.
  7. Comprehensive knowledge of professional and practice issues surrounding nursing and midwifery clinical practice at a local, national and international level.
  8. Ability to work with a multidisciplinary team and engage key stakeholders.
