Where you'll be working
Royal North Shore Hospital - Medical Imaging
What you'll be doing
The role has three primary purposes:
- In conjunction with the LHD Clinical Network Directors (Radiology & Nuclear Medicine) all aspects of leadership of the Northern Sydney Local Health District (NSLHD) Medical Imaging (MI) Network.
- In conjunction with the Royal North Shore (RNS) Clinical Directors all aspects of leadership of the RNS MI Service.
- In conjunction with Central Coast Local Health District (CCLHD) and the NSLHD RIS-PACS Manager facilitate the smooth functioning of the shared PACS/ RIS system.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Relevant tertiary qualification in health, finance or health management related field, or equivalent experience and substantial proven management experience at a senior level in a Medical Imaging or public health environment.
- Proven experience in developing and achieving quality, workforce, financial and operational key performance indicators.
- Proven financial management ability including budget management and an understanding of the revenue opportunities available for MI services.
- Proven ability to manage and lead a multidisciplinary team, and liaise effectively with a wide variety of key stakeholders including health service executive, clinicians, and external service providers.
