- MBBS or equivalent, currently registered or eligible for registration with the Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and in possession of Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology(RANZCOG) or equivalent, as provided for in the Health Insurance Act 1997 and the Staff Specialists (NSW) Award.
- Experience and interest in the supervision, training and professional development of O&G trainees and junior medical staff.
- Demonstrated interest in the management of clinical services appropriate to the needs of the Facility.
- Demonstrated understanding and experience in RANZCOG OSCE examination coordination.
- Evidence of Continuing Medical Education and self-monitoring/audit practices that support credentialing to the position and are commensurate with the scope of practice requirements of the position.
- Demonstrated personal qualities of clinical leadership, including excellent communication skills, motivation, initiative, time management and commitment to negotiation and clinical team building.
- Experience and involvement in quality assurance activities and evidence based best practice with demonstrated commitment to basic, applied or clinical research, medical education and staff training and supervision.
- Qualification, or enrolment in a qualification in Obstetric and Gynaecological ultrasound, is advantageous.
Conditions of appointment are in accordance with the Health Services Act 1997,

The position requires a Working with Children Check (WWCC) issued by the office of the Children’s Guardian.
