If so, we have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated and skilled Research Assistant to join our Interstitial Lung Disease research team at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.

You will be based at Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. The Medical Radiation Scientist (MRS) principal role is to provide an imaging service for our clients in the most efficient, effective and professional way. The MRS is responsible for the welfare and safety of patients, staff and the public.

Ideal Candidate
- Degree in Medical Radiation Science (Diagnostic Radiography) or equivalent qualification accredited by the Australian Society of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (ASMIRT) and General Registration with AHPRA.
- Postgraduate Diploma/Master in Medical Sonography and be eligible for registration with Australian Sonographer Accreditation Registry Ltd.
- Holds a licence to operate irradiating apparatus under the NSW Radiation Control Act.
- Superior level of expertise in ultrasound scanning with ability to perform a wide range of medical imaging procedures including ultrasound and radiographic duties, including shift work, on-call, emergency and overtime when required.
