  1. Current registration with Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia as a Medical Radiation Practitioner - Diagnostic Radiographer with current registration with the EPA with eligibility for supervision and required student licencing exemption.
  2. Demonstrated high level competence to perform a full range of area specific complex examinations both in regular working hours and in an on call setting with extensive experience in MRI. This experience should include evidence of your ability to adapt imaging techniques to achieve optimal imaging.
  3. Demonstrated experience of effective prioritisation and organising workload and delegate duties.
  4. Demonstrated ability to manage integrated radiology systems including PACS/RIS, general x-ray and fluoroscopy in the theatre setting with experience in general radiography and CT, both in and out of hour’s service.
  5. Demonstrated ability to manage human resources to effectively and safely meet demands with proven experience and sound knowledge of the role of senior radiographer and operation of imaging services in a multidisciplinary hospital setting. This includes evidence of policy and/or protocol development and implementation, as well as participation in planning and improvement of services.
  6. Demonstrated advanced level of knowledge of current legislative requirements, policies and issues which affect imaging practice, and the ability to formulate and implement strategies (including policies and procedures) to deal effectively with these issues to ensure the provision of evidence based practice and patient care.
  7. Demonstrated high level of communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to consult, liaise and negotiate with all levels of staff, patients and external agencies and the ability to positively influence organisational change.
  8. Participate in an on call for the site Hospital and reside within the designated response time for on-call services as deemed necessary, with demonstrated high level competence to perform a full range of area specific complex examinations both in regular working hours and in an on call setting.
