Lead, educate and advocate as a specialist nurse, supporting upper gastrointestinal cancer patients and shaping care alongside the McGrath Foundation.
Position Classification: Clinical Nurse Consultant Grade 2
Remuneration: $66.50 - $67.83 per hour
Hours Per Week: 38

- Lead expert care and innovative services for Upper Gastrointestinal cancer patients

If you are an experienced Cancer Nurse, Clinical Nurse Consultant and have a background in oncology, upper gastrointestinal surgery, or care coordination—we want to hear from you! Essential Criteria:
- Registration: Current Registration as a Registered Nurse with Australian Health practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
- Qualification: Holds approved postgraduate qualifications relevant to the specialty of Upper GI Cancer Care or qualifications deemed appropriate by WSLHD
Selection Criteria:
- Registered Nurse with at least five years post registration experience with at least three years' experience in relevant field
- Demonstrated expertise in assessment, diagnosis/ formulation/ management of patients with cancer.
- Proven clinical leadership capabilities with the ability to provide consultancy advice, education and support to individuals, their families, nursing staff and other health professionals.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and an ability to identify and improve opportunities to enhance continuity of care between Upper GI cancer and other health care services.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and in a multidisciplinary team with high level time management, problem solving, analytical and organisational skills
- Demonstrated competency in written and verbal communication, report writing and research skills.
