Where you'll be working
Royal North Shore and Ryde Community Mental Health Centres

What you'll be doing

To provide leadership, management and accountability for staff within the portfolio to ensure all clinical practice is consistent and in accordance with evidenced based practice. The incumbent will play a key role in initiating, developing and sustaining innovative mental health service delivery, including health promotion, to ensure flexible high-quality care is provided

People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.

Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:

  1. Qualifications in relevant clinical field (Social Work, Nursing, Psychology, Occupational Therapy) or equivalent relevant experience. With membership to AHPRA or AASW.
  2. Extensive management experience and leadership of multi-disciplinary teams with a focus on community care coordination and trauma informed, recovery oriented principles of mental health care.
  3. Demonstrated high level interpersonal, communication, organizational skills working with internal and external stakeholders in service planning and delivery
  4. Proven knowledge and experience in policy development, implementation and evaluation, clinical practice improvement, incident management and complaints management
