SELECTION CRITERIA:
- Post graduate qualifications in health care/aged care management or relevant demonstrated aged care services management experience.
- Demonstrated experience in managing clinical teams with an emphasis on aged care service provision and ability to develop, direct and lead a multidisciplinary team/s in the achievement of organizational goals.
- Extensive working knowledge of the Aged Care Act 1997 and its associated Principles and Guidelines for the Aged Care Assessment Program, the NSW Guardianship Tribunal processes and NSW Protocols on Abuse of Older Persons.
- Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills and an ability to collect and evaluate data and produce high quality written reports.
- Demonstrated high level skills in building and sustaining collaborative relationships and networking with a range of stakeholders including government agencies, community and residential aged care service providers, health professionals, clients and families.
- Demonstrated competence in the use of electronic information management systems and proven ability to initiate, lead and complete quality improvement activities and service evaluation processes.
- Current NSW Drivers License and willingness to travel for work.
