Essential Requirements:
- Qualification: Pharmacy qualifications conferred by Tertiary Education Institutions e.g Bachelor of Pharmacy. Must satisfy Grade 3 classification as per Health Employees Pharmacists (State) Award.
- Registration: Full and unrestricted Pharmacist Registration with AHPRA
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated excellent communication skills both written, verbal and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated experience in clinical pharmacy practice, particularly in the management of infectious diseases.
- Demonstrated excellent therapeutic knowledge and ability to exercise a high level of initiative in the application of pharmaceutical principles to clinical infectious diseases (including identification and resolution of problems relating to the use of antimicrobial drugs).
- Demonstrated organisational skills and the ability to prioritise work and manage time to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team with a high degree of self-motivation and ability to effect practice change
- Demonstrated skills in information technology: using computer applications including dispensing, database management, accessing medicine information, spreadsheet, and word processing programs.
- Valid Driver’s Licence. This position is mainly based at Blacktown Hospital but may involve travelling to various facilities of WSLHD when required.
