About the Opportunity
As Imaging Application Manager of our Clinical Application Services department at eHealth NSW, you will help make a real difference in healthcare through leading a growing team responsible for providing 24x7 Radiology Information System (RIS) and Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) support to Southeast Sydney Local Health Districts. RIS/PACS is NSW Health’s consolidated, safe, and secure medical imaging system providing clinicians with access to complete imaging histories, comparison images and reports allowing instant access by public hospital-based treating teams.

This role offers a perfect opportunity for anyone with a strong understanding of clinical processes and environment, looking to jump into a leadership role supporting a growing team working on RIS/PACS to make a difference in patient lives and the future of NSW Health. You will join a driven and collaborative team to lead, guide and support a team providing support and expertise on RIS/PACS services to delivery managers, capability managers, business stakeholders and other work teams. 

In this role, you will:

  • Lead and mentor junior Digital Specialists, promoting knowledge sharing across NSW Health.
  • Advocate for the interests of SES LHD at State RIS/PACS governance forums.
  • Provide expert technical and application support to stakeholders, resolving complex incidents promptly.
  • Design and facilitate workshops to identify business challenges and develop effective digital solutions.
  • Develop, document, and maintain scalable application configurations aligned with organisational needs.
  • Create training materials and resources to support digital adoption and innovation across the system.

 

About You

We are looking for someone who:

  • Extensive experience in expanding or maintaining clinical or digital health in a shared services or clinical environment (RIS/PACS knowledge highly regarded).
  • Strong ability to identify analyse and solve problems in a clinical environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to prioritise and manage or meet deadlines, using a customer-centric approach.
  • Driven desire to collaborate, build relationships and presence with various NSW Health stakeholders as a leader of RIS/PACS for SES LHD.
  • Experience in managing and leading a team, including managing a 24x7 rotating roster of digital specialists.
