An exciting opportunity exists to join the Physiotherapy Department at Royal North Shore Hospital as Acting Head of Department for a 12-month period.

What you'll be doing
To provide operational, professional and strategic leadership in all aspects of service delivery for the Physiotherapy Department Royal North Shore Hospital.
People of Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander background are encouraged to apply.
Candidates will need to meet the following criteria:
- Current registration with the Physiotherapy Board of Australia with extensive experience at Level 2 or above.
- Demonstrated extensive post graduate practice including clinical, teaching, supervision and research experience.
- Demonstrated experience and knowledge of methodology in clinical governance, continuous improvement, quality initiatives and risk management.
- Demonstrated high level communication, leadership, change management and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of Physiotherapy clinical and workforce planning in a health environment.
- Computer knowledge and ability to use Microsoft windows applications.
- Current NSW Drivers licence.
