Focus on New Fathers - Project Manager

1. Consistently demonstrates behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of our organisation; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrates these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, direct reports, as well as our patients and consumers, and those that care for them.
2. Tertiary qualifications and/or equivalent level of skills and experience in all aspects of project management - with a demonstrated track record of leading and implementing successful health or human service improvement and/or service development projects, across multiple facilities. Demonstrated understanding of the needs of fathers/partners of new mothers during the perinatal phase.
3. Excellent interpersonal communication and negotiation skills, both written and oral, with the ability to effectively engage multiple stakeholders, to establish sustainable, positive inter-departmental and cross-organisational relationships and health service pathways across NSLHD.
4. Ability to work collaboratively as part of a high functioning interdisciplinary team, work independently and to effectively communicate and escalate issues when required.
5. Demonstrated ability to manage and meet project timelines, whilst maintaining client-focus, agility and flexibility to respond to emerging issues.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to distil significant issues and assimilate complex information whilst exercising discretion, independent judgement and maintain confidentiality.
7. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office suite and database systems.
8. Evidence of a current unrestricted drivers’ licence and the ability to maintain. Ability and willingness to drive/travel as the role requires.
