Selection Criteria:
- Relevant Fire Safety qualifications i.e. Fire Safety Officer Certificate (Level 2) and additionally a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (equivalent to TAE40116).
- Minimum of 2 years employment in the health care industry as a Fire Safety Officer or suitable equivalent.
- Demonstrated experience in assessment, implementation and evaluation of fire safety requirements.
- Knowledge of statutory requirements for Fire Safety in Health buildings, Australian Standards and the Building Code of Australia as they pertain to fire safety.
- Demonstrated excellent verbal and written communication, in addition to report writing skills.
- Demonstrated experience in the delivery of fire safety and evacuation training.
- Evidence of computer literacy and experience with Microsoft Office in particular Word and Excel.
- Current drivers license with a willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position.
