Garrawarra Centre will appeal to Facility Manager - Director of Nursing who have a particular interest in working within the complex specialty of Dementia and who are committed to person-centred care.Garrawarra Centre thrives on providing quality, person-centred care for elderly people who have a primary diagnosis of Dementia and associated behaviours. We endeavour to maintain a home-like appearance and atmosphere. We work closely with experts in the field such as Geriatricians and Clinical Nurse Specialists to ensure a high level of care is provided.
Where you'll be working
Garrawarra Centre is a 104 bed Dementia Specific Residential Aged Care Facility located in the tranquil setting of Garrawarra State Conservation Area, Waterfall. The Centre is one of the few purpose-built, dementia specific facilities in New South Wales.
There is ample, free on-site parking but you will need your own reliable transport as Garrawarra is not accessible by any public transport.
The role

This role requires clinical leadership of the Garrawarra Centre and oversight of the operational management of service provision to the residents. To ensure high quality care of residents through effective management of the physical, human and financial resources of the Garrawarra Centre and to achieve the objectives of the Centre and the Local Health District.
