About the Role

Concord Repatriation General Hospital has built on its strengths of providing quality health services to returned servicemen and women and local communities, as well as undertaking world class clinical education and research.
The successful candidate will work in the community and inpatient palliative care wards to provide early intervention for patients on the palliative care pathway. The role works closely with the MDT palliative care team. The position is based at Concord hospital but also work closely with the RPA Palliative care Exercise Physiologist, to ensure appropriate management of patient care across the district. At times this will require management of patients across the entire district.  
  
Please note this position may be required to work across both Concord Hospital and Royal Prince Alfred Hospital.

Ideal Candidate
  • Bachelor or post graduate degree in Exercise and Sports Science and current eligibility for full membership of the Exercise and Sports Science Australia Professional Association.
  • Demonstrate advanced clinical knowledge, skill and significant clinical experience in the provision of clinical care across a wide range of practice areas within their discipline, including palliative care, with experience at Level 2 or higher.
  • Currently holds a valid NSW driver’s licence (P1 and P2 licence acceptable)
