We are seeking a compassionate, proactive, and organised Discharge Lounge Enrolled Nurse to join our dynamic team. This is a pivotal role that supports safe, efficient, and patient-centred transitions from hospital to home or community care.

 

$65,024.93 - $70,655.00 pro rata + 11.5% super & salary packaging | Permanent Part-time 14 hours per week | Shoalhaven District Memorial Hospital (SDMH) | REQ568573 | Grade: Enrolled Nurse Year 1 to Year 5 | Applications close: 16 May 2025

As an Endorsed Nurse at Shoalhaven District Memorial Hospital, you will be delivering high-quality nursing care to patients in your designated area. You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to each patient's needs. Your responsibilities will include assessing patients' conditions, administering medications and treatments, monitoring vital signs, and providing education and support to patients and their families. You will maintain accurate patient records, ensure adherence to hospital policies and safety standards, and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment. Whether you are working in the Sub Acute Geriatrics Unit, Medical Wards, Surgical Ward, Rehabilitation, or Emergency Department, you will play a crucial role in helping patients achieve the best possible outcomes.

Shoalhaven Hospital, located on Yuin Country, is the main acute care hospital for the Shoalhaven region, providing emergency care, medical, surgical and orthopaedic services. The hospital has an Intensive Care Unit focusing on high dependency and coronary patients, Children’s Ward and Maternity Unit, as well as a purpose-built regional Cancer Care Centre and sub-acute Mental Health Unit.
