Selection Criteria:
- Recognised Degree in Diversional Therapy which provides eligibility for membership with the Diversional Therapy Association of Australia National Council
- Demonstrated experience in developing, coordinating and evaluating diversional therapy interventions with mental health consumers in a group and individually.
- Demonstrated understanding of mental health issues and their impact on patients both in acute and long stay mental health units
- Ability to work from a recovery based approach within a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated effective communication skills, verbal, written and computer literacy.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional education
- Current unrestricted NSW Driver’s Licence with a willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position
