What you'll be doing
This position supports the Manager of Management Accounting and Reporting, contributing to key financial processes and analysis across the District. The role is vital in ensuring accurate reporting and informed decision-making.
In this role you will be required to:
- Assist in financial performance reporting and consolidation.
- Support budgeting, forecasting, and efficiency programs.
- Provide accurate financial analysis and insights.
- Partner with non-operational teams across the District.
- Develop expertise in budgeting and forecasting tools.

Selection Criteria:
- Relevant tertiary qualification plus extensive work experience within the Finance team of medium to large organisation OR extensive relevant Health experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively and concisely to staff at various levels of an organisation.
- Self-motivated and eager to understand and learn the various components of Health Care and its financial structure and finance requirements.
- Aptitude to undertake analysis of complex financial and performance related data and to develop succinct interpretations of trends and issues arising from such an analysis.
- Experienced in using financial computer systems such as Oracle as well as high level computer skills in PC based applications such as Microsoft Excel, Word and Access.
- Experienced in time management and prioritisation skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work both within a team environment and independently and to take direction.
