About the opportunity

Be part of a transformative, state-wide digital health program shaping the future of diagnostic services across NSW. As a Digital Health Analyst within the Fusion program — a major five-year initiative focused on standardising and integrating pathology services — you’ll play a pivotal role in implementing the single Statewide Laboratory Information Management System (SW LIMS). This high-impact role will see you embedded in a dynamic business implementation team, working closely with clinicians, technical specialists and vendors to ensure digital solutions are aligned with real-world pathology needs across one of the largest public health systems in Australia.

This is an opportunity to apply your experience in digital health, business analysis, and clinical systems to influence large-scale health service transformation. You will lead end-to-end analysis and configuration activities, drive improvements to clinical workflows, and ensure that technology enables better outcomes for patients and healthcare providers alike. If you're ready to deliver meaningful change through innovation, collaboration and expert problem-solving, this role offers both challenge and purpose.

At NSW Health Pathology, we are creating better health and justice systems. We are currently undertaking our largest digital health transformation initiative to date, which will improve the way we provide patient care, as well as how we provide forensic and analytical science services to help solve crimes. We are looking for Digital Health Analysts with experience supporting one or more of the following: Haematology, Chemistry, Immunology, Anatomical Pathology, Transfusion, Pre and Post analytical or Genetic Pathology.

What we can offer you

  • Accrued Days Off in addition to Annual Leave
  • Generous salary packaging options and other fringe benefits
  • Corporate wellbeing programs, including the Fitness Passport
  • Learning and development opportunities, including in-house training with RTO My Health Learning

What you'll be doing

As part of Fusion transformation initiative including the Statewide Laboratory Information Management System (SW LIMS) Program, the Digital Health Analyst will assist with the implementation and support of the single state-wide LIMS. The position is a core member of the Business Implementation project team and will be required to undertake activities directly related to the ongoing development and implementation of the SW LIMS.

Fusion is a comprehensive program of work that aims to standardise, streamline and integrate pathology services over the next five years.

The primary focus of the Digital Health Analyst role will be ensuring that SW LIMS and LIMS-related applications functionality is developed and implemented in line with business needs and enables more appropriate and effective use of diagnostic services across the organisation.

The Digital Health Analyst will participate in configuration, problem management, change management and project implementation. The Digital Health Analyst will also build and maintain relationships with the business, vendors and project team to identify opportunities to improve user experience and business process when implementing clinical applications.
