Selection Criteria: 

  1. Bachelor or post graduate degree in nutrition and dietetics that provides eligibility for full membership of the Dietitians Association of Australia, or other qualification deemed equivalent by the employer.
  2. Clinical dietetic experience, preferably with consumers with mental illness.
  3. Demonstrated ability to work under minimal direct professional supervision and exercise independent professional judgement on routine matters.
  4. Demonstrated effective interpersonal and communication skills including the ability to provide quality written documentation through the use of proficient IT skills
  5. Excellent organisational skills.
  6. Demonstrated ability to work as an effective team member.
  7. Capacity to develop and deliver dietary education and training to a range of professionals including mental health clinicians and GP
