Where you'll be workingThis position is based within the Department of Nutrition & Dietetics, St George Hospital. We are a team of Dietitians s and Dietitian Assistants who are committed to ensure that the nutrition care of patients and clients are at the forefront of service delivery. St George Hospital is a quaternary referral and teaching hospital - a great place to develop your career. The hospital is accessible via rail along with a range of bus services.
The Role
Provide support to the Nutrition & Dietetics team in the delivery of health care services to clients under the direct, indirect or remote supervision of a Dietitian and consistent with South Eastern Sydney Local Health District policies, procedures and standards

- Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance, or equivalent work experience and a willingness to work towards certification with the support of SESLHD.
- Proven interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Computer literacy or a willingness to learn
- Demonstrated ability to be self-directed and work with minimum supervision, to organise work priorities and manage time effectively
- Knowledge and understanding of Work Health and Safety legislation and principles
