What you'll be doing
Join the Western Renal Service as a Nurse Practitioner/Transitional Nurse Practitioner, delivering expert care to dialysis patients across diverse settings.
- Provide autonomous, evidence-based care, including advanced health assessments and diagnostics.
- Lead complex case management and multidisciplinary care planning.
- Support patients and families through education, counseling, and symptom management.
- Foster person-centered care, quality improvement, and safety initiatives.
- Maintain professional documentation and adhere to health policies and risk management protocols.

Essential Criteria:
- Qualification: Master of Nursing
- Registration: Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as a registered Nurse Division 1
Selection Criteria:
- Demonstrated expert knowledge and application of skill required in contemporary Renal nursing practice, including expert knowledge and skills in patient assessment and treatment.
- Master of Nursing (Nurse Practitioner) or Qualifications that qualify to be endorsed by the Board as Nurse Practitioner or in process of attaining same.
- Demonstrated excellent leadership, teaching and collaborative skills with evidence of participation in research/quality activities. Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
- Member of a relevant professional body (College of Nursing), Royal college of Nursing, College of Nursing Australia, Renal Society of Australasia, Australian College of Nurse Practitioners.
- Unrestricted NSW Driver’s Licence.
