About the Role:
As a Dental Assistant in Hunter New England Health, you’ll be an essential part of a multidisciplinary team supporting oral health care in public clinics.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Assisting in a fast-paced clinical setting with general and specialist dental procedures
  • Ensuring infection control and sterilisation standards are maintained to the highest level
  • Providing front desk and administrative support as needed
  • Delivering excellent patient care and helping create a safe, welcoming environment for all


You’ll receive a comprehensive orientation and have access to ongoing professional development, including in-service training and mentoring. Whether you’re working at Armidale’s modern four-chair clinic or rotating across multiple facilities, your contributions will make a real difference in improving the oral health of our regional communities.

About You:
You’re reliable, compassionate, and proactive, with:

  • A Certificate III in Dental Assisting or equivalent experience
  • Knowledge of sterilisation and clinical hygiene procedures
  • A commitment to patient care and continuous learning
  • A current NSW Driver’s Licence
