What you'll be doing

The Culture & Capability Consultant supports the Culture & Capability Manager in the delivery of the People & Culture and SESLHD strategic priorities through the design and delivery of contemporary Organisational Development, Learning and Culture programs and initiatives which build workforce capability, and support employee engagement. This includes the design and delivery of frameworks, tools, resources, procedures, policies and strategic programs.
 
The position manages a range of programs concurrently across the Culture & Capability function including but not limited to talent management, onboarding, organisational culture and engagement, employee experience and recognition, leadership, capability development, and diversity and inclusion.


Where you'll be working

South Eastern Sydney Local Health District (SESLHD) is one of Sydney’s largest health districts, covering 468 square kilometers from Sydney’s CBD and Bondi to Cronulla and the Royal National Park. Serving around 930,000 residents across multiple local government areas—including Woollahra, Randwick, and Sutherland Shire—SESLHD also supports Lord Howe Island. We manage nine hospitals, including Prince of Wales Hospital, Royal Hospital for Women, St George Hospital, and Sutherland Hospital, as well as several community health services.


Selection Criteria: 
  1. Relevant tertiary qualifications or relevant equivalent work experience, or a combination of study and work experience in organisational development, learning, change management, human resources, or other relevant discipline.
  2. Thorough knowledge of contemporary practices in the field of organisational development and learning with demonstrated experience in managing and delivering programs and/or initiatives from conception to completion.
  3. Demonstrated high level communication and analytical writing skills suitable for a large and complex organisation, and for a wide variety of writing projects and the ability to adapt communication to different audiences.
  4. Effective planning and time management and demonstrated ability to prioritise and meet conflicting deadlines.
  5. Proven interpersonal and influencing skills and a strong client service approach to develop and maintain effective working relationships with managers, staff and other key stakeholders.
  6. Demonstrated experience in project management including design, implementation and evaluation.
  7. Demonstrated high level analytical and problem-solving skills that lead to the development of innovative solutions meet workplace needs.
  8. Current drivers license with a willingness to travel in accordance with the demands of the position."
