What you will be doing:
The Contract Implementation Officer will lead and direct the operationalisation of state-wide contracts within the organisation, including change management and risk management activities with HNELHD stakeholders and vendors, progress monitoring and reporting Manager, District Procurement. This position will play a key role in the establishment and track all project KPIs to enable implementation of contracts within agreed timeframes and manage agreed project deliverables. The successful applicants will work as part of a team within the District Procurement Team.


Within this position you will be responsible for the management of NSW Whole of Health Contracts across HNELHD. The District Procurement Services team consists of 6 staff members that provide procurement support and advice to staff within Hunter New England Local Health District. Our team is seeking a committed and enthusiastic individual to join the District Procurement team, providing financial management support to stakeholders through the analysis of procurement data. This includes calculating and reporting on the financial impact of new contracts to be implemented across the District as well as the ongoing monitoring of financial performance of new and existing contracts.

You are a highly motivated professional with excellent communication, customer service and time management skills. You have strong attention to detail and the ability to work well both autonomously and collaboratively as part of a dynamic team. You enjoy problem solving and interacting with stakeholders to achieve optimal outcomes, using your knowledge and admin experience to effectively complete tasks. Our successful candidate will possess a high level of customer service experience, strong communication skills and will enjoy working within a busy, multidisciplinary team. You are a highly motivated professional that is approachable, proactive in nature and has a strong work ethic. Your excellent communication and time management skills and willingness to learn about district procurement will be essential to your success in this position.
