About the Role:
In this role, you’ll take patient calls, manage appointment bookings (including post-op and ward discharge), liaise with GPs, and coordinate with clinical staff to make sure patients receive timely and appropriate care.
This is not just answering phones — it’s being part of a vital link in the patient care chain.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Handling inbound patient calls related to appointments across John Hunter and the broader HNELHD
- Booking, rescheduling and confirming appointments
- Liaising with GPs and clinical coordinators to coordinate patient care
- Ensuring accurate data entry and seamless communication between services
- We currently have four permanent part-time roles available (Monday–Friday shifts, 8:00am–4:30pm), with days negotiable. We're also building a casual pool from this round of recruitment.
