This position qualifies for a Recruitment Incentive Package up to the value of $10,000 (pro-rata part-time/temporary positions less than 18 months), and a reoccurring Annual Retention Bonus valued up to $10,000 (pro-rata part time), under the NSW Health Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme.
This scheme recognises the role key health workers play in enabling the delivery of rural and remote health services, and aims to provide incentives over and above award entitlements, to attract and retain staff in these areas.
To recognise ongoing service in this role, once the successful candidate has served a qualifying period, they will become entitled to a reoccurring Annual Retention Bonus valued up to $10,000 (as taxable income).

What you'll be doing
Provide expert clinical advice to parents, carers and other health care professionals within a defined speciality to deliver high quality clinical services in collaboration with the multidisciplinary team.

How to apply
To be considered for this position, please ensure you address the selection criteria in the application as thoroughly as possible:
- Appropriate tertiary qualifications in Child & Family Health Speciality with minimum of five years working in Child & Family Health and postgraduate certificate in Child and Family Health, with current nursing/midwifery registration with AHPRA.
- Demonstrated clinical expertise and proven ability to provide clinical leadership in the provision and development of clinical practice utilising evidence based research.
- Demonstrated ability to work within a multidisciplinary team and an ability to identify and improve opportunities to enhance continuity of care between the speciality, primary care providers and community based services.
- Demonstrated ability to develop, implement, present and evaluate education, clinical procedures and policies to staff and the community.
- Demonstrated ability to work independently with high level time management, problem solving, analytical and organisational skills.
- Demonstrated competency in written and verbal communication, report writing and research skills.
- Demonstrated ability to implement changes and develop direction in clinical practice through planning, quality management and research..
