What you'll be doing
You will join one of NSW’s largest and most respected Clinical Trials Units at Westmead, leading impactful research in haematology and delivering high-quality patient care. In this role you will:

  • Oversee clinical drug trials and investigator-led studies.
  • Lead a dedicated team in both malignant and non-malignant haematology.
  • Manage patient care and trial operations with a focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Play a key role in advancing strategic research goals.
  • Be part of a collaborative, innovative research environment.

How to Apply

  1. Relevant tertiary qualification including a post-graduate degree or relevant experience.
  2. Extensive clinical trial experience and expertise in clinical haematology and bone marrow transplantation, including knowledge of current developments and issues relating clinical trials.
  3. Demonstrated ability to lead, manage and support a clinical team.
  4. Evidence of and commitment to patient/customer focused care, clinical governance and quality improvement.
  5. Demonstrated knowledge in initiating and implementing changes to improve clinical service delivery and outcomes, models of care, evidence-based practice and practice development.
  6. Demonstrated experience in budget development and monitoring financial performance.
  7. Demonstrated excellence in written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Computer literacy in Microsoft Applications and roster management systems.
