About the Opportunity
Expanding clinical trials unit, with opportunity to manage complex trials with specialised procedures and provide crucial support to patients undergoing treatment.

Manage specialised clinical trials, coordinate with a multidisciplinary team, collaborate with specialists, and provide vital support to patients undergoing treatments.

Manage detailed study protocols and ensure compliance with rigorous regulatory standards.

The Feto-Maternal Clinical Trials Unit at Liverpool Hospital.

 

What You'll be Doing
SWSLHD is committed to improving the capacity and capability of our current and future clinical trials units. This is also in line with our vision to improve the health and well being of our patients.  

The incumbent will be responsible for effectively and efficiently coordinating multiple clinical trial and research projects. The position ensures the research is conducted in accordance with protocol, policy, legislation, ethical requirements and guidelines for evidence based clinical practice to maintain high quality.  

Additionally the position will endeavour to foster participation in clinical trials and research to facilitate evidence based practice across multidisciplinary fields.

  1. Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline or demonstrated minimum 2 years’ experience in the field of research and/or clinical trials.
  2. Demonstrated understanding and experience in the ethical requirements for research including the NHMRC National Statement and Good Clinical Practice (GCP).
  3. Computer skills including proficiency in the use of MS Word and Excel, email, and understanding of database utilisation such as electronic Case Report Forms (eCRF).
  4. Excellent organisational skills with demonstrated experience working in a high volume and demanding professional environment with proven capacity to prioritise, multi-task, achieve departmental goals with a customer focused approach.
  5. Ability to engage with all stakeholders involved with clinical trial management to meet contractual and protocol requirements.
  6. Applicants must possess an Australian C-Class driver's license (including P1 or P2). Those who hold a C class license (P1 or P2 included) from a state other than NSW must obtain a NSW C class (P1 or P2 included) license within three months of appointment. Learner's licenses are not permitted.
