About The Opportunity
Bowral Hospital is seeking a Clinical Support Officer to fill a vacancy in the Emergency Department. Compassion and understanding, as well as the ability to remain calm in high pressure situations, will be a key attribute for the preferred candidate.  

The CSO will provide timely and accurate administrative and transactional services for members of the health care team to support the provision of clinical services under the direction of the nursing/midwifery unit manager and will work under broad supervision but will be required to take some application of established work practices and procedures.

    1. Holds or is willing to undertake a Certificate III in Health Administration or equivalent.
    2. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, including accurate spelling, good comprehension and the ability to deal confidently and courteously with people at all levels.
    3. Demonstrated experience with word processing, spreadsheets and database software.
    4. Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise workload and tasks to meet deadlines.
    5. Capacity to work under broad supervision and to undertake a diverse range of tasks as an effective member of a team in a high pressure, high volume work environment.
