Selection Criteria:

  1. Hold a Master’s degree or higher in Clinical Psychology, Clinical Neuropsychology or some other recognised clinical area in psychology. The postgraduate qualifications must be of no less than two years full time duration (or part-time equivalent) and include professional clinical coursework, clinical training and supervised placement experience as core components.
  2. Consistently demonstrate behaviours that reinforce the CORE Values of ISLHD; Collaboration, Openness, Respect and Empowerment. Demonstrate these behaviours with all stakeholders; colleagues, consumers, and those that care for them.
  3. Extensive effective experience in assessment, intervention and evaluation of clinical outcomes with diverse client populations.
  4. Extensive contemporary experience and knowledge of psychological evidence based practice in older person mental health.
  5. Effective written and verbal communication skills, interpersonal skills and problem solving skills.
  6. An ability to liaise and provide education to other health professionals.
  7. Ability to work autonomously and be part of a multidisciplinary team.
  8. Current NSW Class C driver’s licence.
