Selection Criteria to be addressed:
- Full registration with Psychology Board of AHPRA. Endorsement in Clinical Psychology or working towards endorsement, and accredited post-graduate degree in Clinical Psychology.
- Theoretical knowledge of obesity and its associated co-morbidities and the relationship between psychological factors and obesity.
- Demonstrated ability to provide psychological assessment and deliver evidence-based psychological treatment with sensitivity and compassion.
- Demonstrated ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Demonstrated ability to facilitate group processes, identify and manage problems in relation to group dynamics and to promote and support team-based solutions.
- Demonstrated evidence of excellent oral and written communication skills, including through the development of service resources
- Demonstrated ability to lead and evaluate quality activities towards improving services and outcomes.
- Demonstrated interest in research.
