  1. Completion of 2 year (minimum) full time equivalent accredited postgraduate Masters or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology. Full registration with the AHPRA Psychology Board of Australia, with Clinical Psychology endorsement, or eligibility to progress to the same.

  2. Clinical skills and expertise in mental health that allow the applicant to fulfil the tasks of the role as outlined in the statement of duties.

  3. Experience working in a multidisciplinary team led by a medical consultant.

  4. Experience in paediatric psychological assessment and therapy, specifically in cognitive behaviour therapy and systemic family therapy at a minimum.

  5. Skills in teaching and the development of teaching material.

  6. Experience in the provision of clinical supervision.

  7. Demonstrated research and publication.

  8. Capable of independent initiation as well as ability to work well in a team.

Acceptable proof of vaccination is the Australian Immunisation Register (AIR) Immunisation History Statement or AIR COVID-19 Digital Certificate. Booster doses are highly recommended for all health care workers who have completed the primary course of COVID-19 vaccinations.
