Come and join a very supportive team of Clinical Psychologists and Neuropsychologists in a dedicated department working at the Prince of Wales Hospital.
 
Where you'll be working
 
The department is based at POW Hospital and sees patients across the variety of rehabilitation wards including the state-wide Spinal Injuries Service. 
  
What you'll be doing

The role of the clinical psychologist is integral to the psychological wellbeing of the patients of SESLHD and an active part of the multi-disciplinary team.

Selection Criteria 
 
  1. Full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia, with Endorsement in Clinical Psychology (or eligibility to progress to same), along with a minimum two-year full-time equivalent Master or Doctorate degree in Clinical Psychology.
  2. Demonstrated experience in the provision of evidence-based psychological assessment and treatment of people with anxiety, depression and adjustment to major life changes/illness.
  3. Capacity to design and implement treatment protocols for a range of psychological issues.
  4. Demonstrated high level written and verbal communication skills, organisational skills and time management skills.
  5. Demonstrated experience working as part of a multi-disciplinary team in a health setting or private practice or placement.
